He is survived by: his wife Lura Scowden of Cape Girardeau; his daughter Katie Smith (Blake) of Cape Girardeau; his sister Karen Hagan (Pat) of Cape Girardeau; his siblings-in-law, Sue Scheffer (Martin), Gail Meyer and Gary Bess; his niece Shannon Hagan; his nephews, Sean Hagan (Sarah), Steven Meyer and Chris Brooks; his great-niece Sophie; and his great-nephews, Colin and Liam.
