He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester George and Lucy Marie Grizzle Moxey; his wife Mary Jo Kaempfer; his daughters, Gayle Reeves and Charlotte Anne Moxey; his sons-in-law, Ken Reeves and Bob White; and his siblings, Herbert George Moxey and Edith Richie.
He is survived by: his son Ernie Moxey (Lisa) of St. Louis; his stepson Tim Ludwig; his daughter Bonnie White of Cape Girardeau; his grandchildren, Tim White (Katelyn), Jonathan Moxey (Lauren), Brian Moxey (Emily) and Sharon Reeves; his stepgranddaughters, Jennifer Shemwell (Andy) and Heather Ludwig; and his great grandchildren, Tyson, Kyla, Rowyn White, Jack, Gus Moxey and Olivia Moxey.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM at the Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Funeral Home (1001 N Mt Auburn Rd, Cape Girardeau, MO 63701). A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be given to Chateau Girardeau Employees Fund, American Heart Association, or National Kidney Foundation.
