He was predeceased by: his parents, Rufus W Lindsay and Cora M. Slinkard Lindsay; and his siblings, William J Lindsay, Joyce Clifton and Judy Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Roxie Lindsay; his children, Douglas Lindsay (Karen Mark), Kurt Lindsay (Diane), Scott Lindsay (Sharon), Lori Siebert (Bob) and Gregory Lindsay (Julie); and his grandchildren, Heather, Adam, Mollie, Nicholas Lindsay, Jacob, Emily Lindsay, Benjamin, Ryan Siebert, Lindsay Downing, Megan and Brendan Lindsay. He is also survived by sixteen great grandchildren.
