She was predeceased by: her mother Elaine Van Wyk Reeves; her grandparents, Ben, Irma Nelle Van Wyk, Guy and Hazel Reeves; and her aunts and uncles, Phyllis Frazier, Ralph, Joan Van Wyk and Jerry Van Baale.
She is survived by: her husband John D. McGowan; her father Guy B. Reeves; her brother Chris Reeves; her aunts and uncles, Ramona Van Baale, Bonnie, Frank Sloan and Clarence Frazier; her pets, Troika and Keva; and her nephew Zeke Reeves. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and in-laws.
