“In spring 2014, my wife and I purchased John's home on Greenbrier when he moved to Chateau Girardeau. Over the years, we kept in occasional touch, sometimes seeing him at Huddle House after Sunday mass. Once, we invited him over to see some of the remodeling we had done since he'd moved out. We always enjoyed talking and laughing with him. John was a great guy. We will remember him fondly. Greg and Carol Stout”
