He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin John and Della Lange Schwab; his brother Leon Schwab; and his brothers-in-law, Carl Pensel, Lester Knight, Frank Knight (Carol) and Curtis Clymer.
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Knight; his son Dr. Jeffrey Schwab (Katie) of Marietta; his grandchild Kelly Drew (Scott) of Waco, Texas.; his sister Dorothy Pensel; his sisters-in-law, Laverne Schwab of Jackson and Marian Clymer of Cape Girardeau; and his grandchildren, Ansley, Bennett, Emmy Schwab of Marietta, Mackenzie, Peyton and Brody Drew of Waco. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church, the Lutheran Home Hospice or Saxony Lutheran High School.
