He is survived by: his wife Judy McDowell of Cape Girardeau; his sons, Sean McDowell (Julia) of Black Zion and Matt McDowell (Jamie) of Cape Girardeau; and his grandchildren, DJ McDowell of Cape Girardeau, Maddy McDowell of Cape Girardeau, Kaylee McDowell of Cape Girardeau and Eliza Lee McDowell of Black Zion, Mississippi..
