With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Albert Buckenmyer of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, born in Toledo, Ohio, who passed away on June 1, 2022 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert John and Marcia Philominea Buckenmyer (Tremmel); and his brothers, Charles Allen and John Joseph Buckenmyer. He is survived by: his children, Marcia B. Freeborg of Jackson, James W. Buckenmyer of Friendsville, Tennessee, Daniel Martin Buckenmyer (Terra) of Jackson, Regina M. Buckenmyer of Cape Girardeau and Jacob A. Buckenmyer of Valencia, California; and his sister-in-law Marcia Buckenmyer of Bowling Green, Ohio. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren; 5 nieces and nephews.
