It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Lowes (Cape Girardeau, Missouri), born in Evansville, Indiana, who passed away on September 4, 2023, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas McLain and Elsie H. Alexander (Seidelmeier); her husband Leonard; her children, Richard (Earleen Lowes), David Lowes and Sara; and her granddaughters, Victoria and Donna.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Ann Halter (Andy) of Sikeston, Missouri, Jim Lowes (Pamela) of Edmond, Oklahoma, Steve Lowes (Jane) of Elwood, Indiana, Ken Lowes (Linda) of Sikeston, Missouri and Greg Lowes (Cindy) of West Plains, Missouri; and her daughter-in-law Edie Lowes of Cape Girardeau. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be given to St. Mary's Catholic Church.
