He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Walter and Ella Lydia Neumeyer Kasten; his daughter Cheryl Ann Kasten; and his siblings, Milton Kasten (Jo Ann) and Mary Lou Wendel (Roy).
He is survived by: his children, Susan Rundel (Mark) of Crane and Michael Kasten (Donna) of Jackson; his granddaughters, Ashley O'Larte (Stephen) of High Springs and Kaitlin Rundel of Crane; and his siblings, Joyce King (Gene) of Jackson and Donald Kasten (Peggy) of Columbus, Ohio. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins.
Viewing was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the McCombs Funeral Home & Cremation Center (640 W Independence St, Jackson, MO 63755). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at 2:30 PM at the Zion United Methodist Church Cemetery (3652 State Hwy Z, Cape Girardeau, MO 63752).
