It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gordon Leon Morgan of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, born in Morley, Missouri, who passed away on September 20, 2022, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Reece Morgan and Sylvia Knotts Morgan; and his brothers, Kenneth and Reece Morgan. He is survived by: his daughters, Christie Schoen (Alan) of Cape Girardeau, Tammy Elders (Gary) of Scott City and Tabatha Morgan (John S. Alexander) of Scott City; his grandchildren, Caitlin, Jacob, Samuel Elders, Hilary Rhoden (David), Ballas and Bayden Schoen; and his great grandchildren, Lily, Carter, Brynlee, Evelyn and Sophia.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be given to the Cape Girardeau Fire Rescue Foundation Fund or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
