Glennetta Houck Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Glennetta Houck of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, who passed away on March 25, 2024 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Glenn S. Johnson and Mable H. Kassel Johnson; her son Doyle W. Houck; her brothers, Kenneth, Ronnie, Dickie and Thomas Johnson; her stepbrother Ronnie May; her sister Sally Jane Lovell; and her stepsister Sue Coomer.

She is survived by: her children, Dennis Houck (Debbie) of Cape Girardeau, Sally Bronenkant (Greg) of Fruitland and Tammy Messmer (Jeff) of Jackson; her half-brothers, Steven Johnson of Cape Girardeau and Samuel Johnson of Dutchtown; her sister JoAnn Johnson Nemeth of San Diego, California; her half-sister Nancy Burroughs; her grandchild Ashley Dunning (Beau); her stepgrandchildren, Josh Cunningham (Heather), Tara Beussink (Josh), Dalton Bronenkant and Garrett Bronenkant; her great grandchildren, Hank, Hannah and Maverick Dunning; and her stepgreat-grandchildren, Amzie and Kenna Beussink.

Memorial contributions may be given to St, Andrew Lutheran Church or Lutheran Home Hospice.
