He was predeceased by: his parents, William "Red" Fortner and Grizilla Fortner (Paris); and his brother William "Bill" Fortner. He is survived by: his daughter Casey Rouggly of Cape Girardeau; his grandson Collyn Rouggly (Haylee) of Cape Girardeau; his niece Denise; and his nephew Ryan Fortner.
