He was predeceased by: his parents, Wayne Bradford (Eva Rust) and Eva Palmer Rust; his sons, Robin and Rex Dearmont Rust; his brother Harry Rust; and his sisters-in-law, Sally Kurka and Kim Kurka McDowell.
He is survived by: his wife Wendy Kurka Rust; his children, Penny Rochelle Rust Terry, Gary Wayne Rust II, Holly Rust Payne, Wynn Bradford Rust, Jon Kurka Rust and Katherine Marie Terry (Kevin Hasbun); his grandchildren, Elias Terry Hasbun, Anna Terry Hasbun and Julia Terry Hasbun; his son Alex Benjamin Terry (Julie); his grandsons, James Peter Terry and William Joseph Terry; his children, Julia Misaki Rust and Thomas Sho Rust (Whittney); his grandchild Kai Rust; his child Reagan Jane Wicker (Jordan); his grandson Jackson Lawrence Wicker; his child Morgan Lesley (Ryan); his granddaughter Hannah Paige Lesley; his children, Robyn Ruser (Jeffrey), Erik Rockford Rust (Jennifer), Rachel Ann Rust, Rebekah Kristina Rust, Sarah Elizabeth Rust (Vance Miller), Yuliana Kurka Rust, Ekaterina Ava Rust, Elizaveta Sophia Rust and Anna Borisovna Ryzhkova; his brother Jim Rust (Beverly); his daughter-in-law Sherry Johnson Rust; and his siblings-in-law, Joy Kurka Gilbert, Barbara Rose Rust and Terry McDowell.
