It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris E. Saupe of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, who passed away on April 8, 2023, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar Wibbenmeyer and Lucille Kirn Wibbenmeyer; her husband Glenn Saupe; and her sisters-in-law, Marilyn Turner (Cecil) and Charlotte Hecht (Bob).
She is survived by: her children, Melissa Harris (Bryan) of Cape Girardeau, Weldon Saupe (Laura) of Jackson, Kevin Saupe (Tabitha) of Jackson and Wayne Saupe (Natalie) of Jackson; her grandchildren, Emily, Elsie Harris, Blake, Jake Saupe, Jacob, Levi Shelton, Lily Saupe, Kendall and Flynn Saupe; her siblings, Norman Wibbenmeyer of Gatesville, Donna Seabaugh (late David) of Friedheim and Bernice Niermann (Steve) of Chester, Illinois; and her sister-in-law Doris Schmidt (Mel) of Cape Girardeau. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorials may take the form of contributions to the Trinity Lutheran Church Building Fund (Shawneetown) or the donor's choice of church or charity.
