She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Thornton Elliott and Delores Elliott; her husband Vernon Balogh; her children, Andrew Vernon Balogh (Lori) of North Dakota, Michael Duane Balogh (Carmen) of California, Jonathan Eric Balogh (Lorraine) of California, Judith Ann Steck (Bobby) of Jackson, Thornton James "T. J." Balogh (Robin) of Cape Girardeau and Thomas Scott Balogh (Marie) of Cape Girardeau; her sisters, Judy Smith of Illinois, Lita Leon of Illinois, Gay Ann Zimmer of Illinois and Terry Mason of Virginia; and her brother-in-law Phillip Adams of Nevada. She was also cherished by 25 grandchildren; 28 great-grand-children and many nieces and nephews.
Memorials may take the form of contributions to the Missouri Veterans Home Foundation or the American Cancer Society.
