He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Jeffries and Martha Ellis Jeffries; and his sisters, Geneva Pinson and Jesse Edwards. He is survived by: his wife Annette; his children, Donald Jeffries Jr. (Amber), Jennifer Jeffries and Judi Svendsen (John) of Cincinnati, Ohio; and his siblings, William Jeffries (Lois), Lowell Jeffries, Orville Jeffries (Judy) and Henrietta Burch (Joe). He is also survived by nine grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.

The family asks that all memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society.
