He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles "Tuck" Priest and Erna Priest; his wife LaVonna "Sue" Priest; and his siblings, Jack, Jerry and Jo Ellen Priest.

He is survived by: his sister Mary Helbig of Fenton; his children, Lisa A. Reinagel (Ray) of Kelso, A. Suzanne Eftink (Larry) of Kelso, Krissi D. Davis (Chris) of Cape Girardeau and Mark D. Priest of Raleigh; his grandchildren, Lindsay Reinagel, Lauren Pobst (Jayden), Clayton Eftink, Whitney Rule (David), Hunter Eftink (Allie), Ashley, Allison, Andrew Priest, Jackson, Karsyn Andrews, Charleigh and Quinn Davis; and his great grandchildren, Blakely, Kannon Pobst, Knox Reinagel, Briar Crowden, Lettie, Beau Eftink and Eli Smith.
