Spell of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, born in Goodman, Mississippi, who passed away on July 13, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, L. U. Spell and Christine Burrell Spell; his brother Kyle I. Spell; and his daughter Jennifer Spell Dowdy. He is survived by: his wife Mary L. Spell; his daughters, Stacy Jansen (Jim) of Brentwood, MO., Chris Hulsey (Dave) of Eureka, MO. and Beth Friedrich (Scott) of Perkins, MO.; his sister Judy Fischer (Dennis) of Villa Ridge, MO; his nieces and nephews, Alecia Fischer, Carrie Pack (Allen), Keith Fischer (Jill) and Sara Sprouse (Matt); his grandchildren, Nick Jansen (Katie), Carly Jansen, Jon Blank (Mila), Adam Hulsey, Ellen Hulsey, Hanna Hulsey Nettesheim (Jay), Paige Hulsey, Will Friedrich (Claudia), Kyle Friedrich and Stephen Dowdy (Noah); and his great grandchildren, Alleyson, Loralei Hulsey, Logan Blank, Brooklyn, Asher Nettesheim, Ryker Friedrich and Freya Jansen.
