In the vast expanse of eternity, may Clara find peace everlasting, cradled in the gentle embrace of the universe. And as we stand on the shores of remembrance, may her legacy inspire us to live each day with purpose, passion, and profound gratitude for the gift of life itself.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Matthew Vaughn and Rosie Lee Vaughn (Boggess); and her spouse Donnis Young. She is survived by: her children, Martin Herrington (Janet) of Caruthersville, Kenneth Herrington of Cape Girardeau, Debra Lomax of Cape Girardeau, Diana Holloway of Cape Girardeau and Donna Gail Tackett (Sherwood) of Martin; and her sister Lela Brown (Carl) of Kennett. She is also survived by Eighteen grandchildren, twenty-eight great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, October 26th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Oak Ridge Cemetery (1001 College Ave, Kennett, MO 63857).
