He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Myers and Dorothy Myers (Hammond); and his siblings, Anne Pearl and Gerald Myers, Jr.. He is survived by: his fiancée Dorothy Hopkins of Cape Girardeau, MO; his children, Akeema Hopkins (Angela) of Cleves, OH and Akeea Hopkins-Lewis (Bill Lewis) of Cape Girardeau, MO; his sister Carol Warner of Massena, NY; and his grandchildren, Katrina Hopkins, Chazz Hopkins, Airiana Lewis and John Lewis.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Ford & Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel (1001 N Mt Auburn Rd, Cape Girardeau, MO 63701). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
