She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin Koenig and Irene Schaefer Koenig; her husband Dwight Judson Leonard; and her siblings, Evelyn Koenig Crites and Herman E. Koenig.

She is survived by: her son Dr. Stuart Leonard of Hattiesburg, MS..
