As Bobby departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Bobby may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Bobby leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Buster Pierce and Rose Flora Pierce (Kenick); and his sister Patsy Hider. He is survived by: his children, Heather Cutright (Tim) of Cape Girardeau and Sean Pierce (Debbie) of Jackson, Missouri; his siblings, Larry Pierce (Jo) of Jackson, Missouri and Janet Mungle (Jim) of Cape Girardeau; and his brother-in-law Bill Hider. He is also survived by five grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the Missouri Veterans Home, his home of 25 years, in honor of their commitment to Bobby, and his years of service and dedication to his fellow veterans.
