Obituary for Blake Baxter Crowson
Blake Baxter Crowson, 18, of Cape Girardeau, Missouri died Wednesday, April 29, 2020 after suffering fatal injuries in a car crash.
He was born December 19, 2001 in Osage Beach, Missouri to Ronnie B. and Tamatha J. McIntosh Crowson Jr.
He was a 2020 graduate of Cape Central High School.
Blake was a talented and passionate percussionist and a member of the Cape Central Marching Tigers, Shadow Drum and Bugle Corps of Oregon, Wisconsin and Freedom Percussion of St. Charles Missouri. He was an A student and had plans to attend SEMO in the fall of 2020.
Blake was a joy and a light to his family, friends, teachers, co-workers and band directors and his smile could light up a room. His presence will be greatly missed.
Survivors include his mother, Tamatha J. Crowson of Cape Girardeau; father, Ronnie B. Crowson Jr. of Pearl, Mississippi; one brother, Evan Crowson of Cape Girardeau; maternal-grandmother, Laurie Thompson of Camdenton, Missouri; and maternal-grandfather, Toby McIntosh of Vero Beach, Florida, paternal-grandfather Ronnie B. Crowson, Sr. of Pearl, MS.
A memorial will be held Saturday, May 16th at The Water's Edge from 3:00-7:00 p.m.
