He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilson Windeknecht and Lorene Windeknecht. He is survived by: his wife Ruby; his sons, Shannon, Joe (Rhonda) and Aaron Windeknecht; and his stepdaughters, Cynthia Menz, Penny Compas, Stephanie Windeknecht, Kathleen Smith and Eva Windeknecht. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Ford & Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel (1001 N Mt Auburn Rd, Cape Girardeau, MO 63701). A graveside service was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Williams Cemetery.
