He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Stacy and Louise Stacy (Nelson); his stepfather Charlie Altwater; his brother Charles Stacy; his stepsisters, Mildred Shatola (Leonard) and Mary Ann Gutwein (Glen); and his brothers-in-law, John Sam Varnon, Jr., Stanley Varnon, Mack Varnon, Stephen Rhodes Sharp and Bob Cruse.
He is survived by: his wife Sue Varnon Stacy of Cape Girardeau; his brother Lynn Stacy (Kaye) of Jefferson City; his stepsister Pattie Thorp of Clearwater, Florida; and his siblings-in-law, Patt Sharp of Kennett, Deloris Raffety (Joe) of Clarksville, TN, Betty Cruse of Cape Girardeau, Nita Roodman (Toby) of Cape Girardeau, Betty Stacy of Diamond Springs, CA, Tony Varnon (Janet) of Cape Girardeau and Richard Varnon (Suzanne) of Memphis, TN..
