He was predeceased by: his parents, William James Lippincott McNeary and Jane Elizabeth Green McNeary; and his sister Jane Green McNeary. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Drake McNeary (Peggy); his brother John Maxwell McNeary (Lydia) of Charlotte; his children, Mary Ella McNeary Yamashita (Tsunemi) of Russellville, Arkansas, William Wilson McNeary, III (Charlotte) of Charleston, Missouri and Harvey Drake McNeary (Beth) of Brevard; his grandson William Wilson McNeary, IV (Emily Landes); and his children, Marilyn Joyce McNeary (Marlee), Yoshio Alan Yamashita, Mihoshi Mary Eliza Yamashita and Margaret Laurel McNeary (Joe).
