Aline Loraine Bruns Obituary
We are sad to announce that on March 10, 2025, at the age of 84, Aline Loraine Bruns of Cape Girardeau, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank W. Maltry and Marie Meyer Maltry; her siblings, Francis, Urban, Victor Maltry, Mary Ellen Kroger, Joan Buschle, Rita Paige and Patsy Beusterien; and her grandchild Abby Bruns.
She is survived by: her children, John Bruns (Lena) of Cape Girardeau, Raymond Bruns (Vanessa) of Cape Girardeau, Alan Bruns (Danna) of Cape Girardeau and Susan Casleton (Ed) of Green Bay, Wisconsin; her siblings, Jim, Tim Maltry, Judy Maltry, Lavern Graham and Jeanne Stilgenbauer; and her grandchildren, Amanda Bruns, Luke Bruns, Rachel Casleton, Tyler Bruns, Justin Casleton (Molly) and Emily Bruns.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Funeral Home (1001 N Mt Auburn Rd, Cape Girardeau, MO 63701). A rosary was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Parish Prayers Followed. A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church (1919 Ritter Dr, Cape Girardeau, MO 63701).
Memorial contributions may be given to Notre Dame Regional High School, St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church or Cape Girardeau Public Library.
