It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Alfred Richard Eifert of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, who passed away on February 17, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred "Turk" Eifert and Bernice Tisdale Eifert; his wife Pauline; and his son Richard Rene Eifert. He is survived by: his children, LaWanna Heise (Tom), Cindy Neely (Joel), Mark Eifert (Diane) and Katrina Calhoun (Wayne); and his stepchildren, Laurie Young (Allen), Cathy Mason (Charlie) and Danny Ferguson. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 36 great-grandchildren.
Memorials may take the form of contributions to The Missouri Veterans Home, SEMO Pets, Safe Harbor, or Mac's Mission.
