She was predeceased by: her parents, Dennis Burks and Alma Burks (Ewing). She is survived by: her husband Dennis; her sons, Kenny Higdon (Colleen) and Donald Higdon (Mary Ellen); her brother W. L. Burks (Debbie); her sister-in-law Pat Burks; her grandchildren, Tammy Wade, Scott Myers, Rodney Higdon, Paul Higdon (Angie), Paige Byrd (Jason) and Emalee Higdon; and her great grandchildren, Devyn, Kinley, Karson, Langley and Thomas. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
