She was predeceased by: her parents, Evert Faulconer and Cecil Faulconer (Risner); her husband Dr. Glenn L Howard; her son Daniel Smithey; her siblings, Evert Faulconer Jr. and Hazel; and her brother-in-law Obie Newsom.
She is survived by: her son Michael Smithey; her siblings, Elizabeth Ghens (Warren) and James Faulconer (Nancy); her granddaughters, Nicole Smithey (Carla Campbell) and Sara Penteris (Nick); her great grandchild Olivia Penteris; her close friend Jethro; and her nieces and nephews, Robyn Shope, Julie Lutes (Robert), Ronda Broombaugh (Don), Glen Newsom (Rose), James Newsom, James Faulconer Jr., Kenneth Helm and Andrew Ghens (Jamie). She is also survived by many great nieces and nephews, cousins, as well as many friends.
