He was predeceased by: his parents, Eli Nelson and Charlotte Corain Nelson (Hoyt); and his siblings, Iona Monroe (Fike) and Woodrow "Woody" Nelson. He is survived by: his wife Carol Percival; his children, Jayne Fike (Kenny Welch), James Porter (Tina), Hope Fike, Jason Fike and Angela Stucky; his grandchildren, Heather, Amber, Matthew, Bradley, Nakisha and Amanda; his sister Betty Marshall (Dean); and his sister-in-law Marci Nelson of Wichita, KS.. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.
