Hazel Mae Cowan Obituary
We are sad to announce that on March 2, 2023, at the age of 90, Hazel Mae Cowan of Cape Fair, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William George and Blanche Emlet (Gillespie); her daughters, Pamela Jo Lawson and Paula Schneider; and her siblings, Gerald, Noel, Gene Emlet, Anna Mayberry, Audrey Rosebrough and Grethel Bolin.
She is survived by: her husband John Bryon Cowan; and her children, Mike Lawson (Candi) of Aurora, Chuck Cowan (Trina) of Willard, Missouri and Kathy Cowan-Smith (Randy) of Auxvasse, Missouri. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial donations be made payable to the Cape Fair First Baptist Church in care of the funeral home.
