She was predeceased by: her spouse Roy V. "Pete" Peterson; her grandchildren, A. J. Bray and Ainsley Peterson; and her parent Helen Reimer. She is survived by: her children, Elise Bray (Jeff) of Fayetteville, NC, George Peterson (Sharon) of Cape Fair, MO, Cheryl Pawlak (Edward) of Downers Grove, IL, Miriam Johnson (Mark) of Naperville, IL and Lisa Countryman (Eric) of Oswego, IL; her grandchildren, Julie Fisk (Josh), Leanne Bulger (Evan), Daniel Pawlak, Andrew Pawlak, Riley Straub, Alexis Countryman and Kathryn Countryman; and her great grandchildren, Alan, Aliza Jane, Calvin, Ben, Oliver and Rose.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Elsie's memory may be made to an organization of the donor's choice which promotes the humane treatment of companion animals.
