He was predeceased by: his parents, Emery Helm and Helen Helm (Henderson); his wife Donna Lois Helm; his children, Steve Hartley Helm and Caryn Lenea Ocamb; his grandson Billy Robinson; and his sister Erma Farmer.
He is survived by: his children, Scott Helm (Jami) of Cape Fair, Missouri and Cami Jo Garland of Seattle, Washington; his daughter-in-law Jean Helm of Berryville, Arkansas; and his siblings, Emery Worth Helm (Pam) of Idaho and Verna Helm (Harold Friez) of Montana. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; several great-grandchildren.
