It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William F. Scott (Canton, Missouri), born in Elk Point, South Dakota, who passed away on April 4, 2020, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Merle Byron and Frances June Hartwig Scott; his son Tracy Scott; his stepson Nick Walker; his stepgrandson Billy Burger; and his brother Gene Scott.
He is survived by: his former wife Judith L. Atwell; his wife Judy Scott of Canton; his children, Steve Scott (Jennifer) of Summerville and Julie Moon (Terry) of Canton; and his stepchildren, Shawn Walker (Debra) of Edwardsville, KS, Mary Inghram of Largo, FL, Verla Burger of Kansas City, MO, Denise Conwell (Brad) of Overland Park, KS and Jodi Cheselka of Overland Park, KS. He is also survived by 52 grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
The family suggests memorials be made to Hospice of Northeast Missouri or to the Lewis County Nursing Home and may be left or mailed to Davis Funeral Home, P.O. Box 108, Canton, MO 63435.
