It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Veda Winkler (Canton, Missouri), born in Williamstown, Missouri, who passed away on February 28, 2021, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Wylie Hawkins and Grace Wood Hawkins; and her siblings, Vivian Weatherby, Nina Hutchesson, Betty Snodgrass, Maxine Nelson, Jack, Robert and Julius Hawkins.
She is survived by: her close friend Belva Smith; her children, Judith Smith of Canton, Carolyn Sue, Barbara Ann Krewet of LaBelle and John Winkler, Jr. of LaBelle; and her grandchildren, Robin Bracey, Unity Seay, Larry Joe Carper, Jr. and Bobbie Odum. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren and several nieces & nephews.
