With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ossie L. Handley of Canton, Missouri, born in Carmi, Illinois, who passed away on November 11, 2024 at the age of 75. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Ossie L. Handley to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ferrell Handley and Jane Crawford Handley; and his brother-in-law Alan Lippincott. He is survived by: his wife Penny Handley of Canton; his children, Phillip Handley (Amanda Nelson) of Goodyear, Mervyn Handley of Jesup, Kevin Handley of Jesup, John Handley of Jesup, Sheila Handley of Jesup, Shari Handley of Jesup and Lanelle Gallaher of Maywood; his siblings, Vicki Handley of Herrin and David Handley (Genesia) of Quincy; and his sister-in-law Pam Lippincott of Canton. He is also survived by several nieces & nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Arnold's Funeral Home (1100 White St, Canton, MO 63435). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to the Quincy Humane Society.
