It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Donald Brown (Canton, Missouri), who passed away on December 22, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, J. W. "Will" Brown and Lida Pearl Marks Brown; his daughter Debra Brown Danforth; his grandchildren, Matt Wilson and Amanda Brown; his great grandchild McKenzie Almanza; his siblings, Vernon Brown, Richard Brown (Dick) and Madalyn Davis; and his siblings-in-law, Dorothy Brown and Don Davis.
He is survived by: his wife Lois Dean Brown of Hannibal, MO; his children, Diane Wilson (Harry) of Williamstown, MO and Dale Brown (Eillen) of Williamstown, MO; his grandchildren, Darcy Buckwalter (Craig) of Canton, MO, Joshua Wilson (Ashley) of Canton, MO, Derek Danforth (Angie) of Lewistown, MO, Toby Wilson of St. Charles, MO, Zach Cottrell (Kyleigh) of Fort Wayne, IN and Kayla Scott (Jacob) of La Grange, MO; and his sister-in-law Rosetta Brown. He is also survived by fourteen great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Davis Funeral Home (310 N 7th St, Canton, MO 63435). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
The family suggests memorials be made to Zion Hill Cemetery in care of Davis Funeral Home, PO Box 108, Canton, MO 63435 Pallbearers will be: Derek Danforth, Joshua Wilson, Toby Wilson, Craig Buckwalter, Zach Cottrell and Jacob Scott.
