He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald R. Davis and Marjorie Davis (Hartgrove); his father-in-law Cecil Johnson; his grandparents, Leo and Ola Davis; and his granddaughter Lauren Neal.

He is survived by: his former wife Pamela Sue Johnson; his wife Pam Davis; his children, Christine Baker (Kevin), Melanie Saxbury (Michael) and Gary Davis; and his grandchildren, Kourtni "Piglet" Baker, Kyli "Roo" Baker, Michaela "Mac" Saxbury, Cole "Tater" Saxbury, Amelia and Hunter.

The family suggests memorials be made to the La Grange Lion's Club or to Otto Bruner Post #170 of the American Legion.
