He was predeceased by: his parent William Cluade Burson; his son Ralph Edwin "Tinker" Burson; and his siblings, Allen Burson, Edwin Burson, Bill Burson, Louise Polsgrove, Georgia Shaffer and Maxine McBride.
He is survived by: his parent Lena Bainridge Burson; his wife Naomi Burson of Campbell, MO; and his sister-in-law Velma Adkins (Jack) of Kennett, MO. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
