With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Nelda Jean Smith (Campbell, Missouri), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 29, 2024 at the age of 88. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Nelda Jean Smith to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Edward and Thelma Clarice Lowe; her husband Billy Mack Smith; her siblings, Tommy Lowe, Joe Don Lowe, Jerry Lowe and Billye Fitzwater; and her great grandchild Brett Oldman.
She is survived by: her children, Jo Beth Kennedy (George Baker) of Byhalia, Mississippi and Gregory Mack Smith (Gayla) of Benton, Arkansas; her brother Riley Lowe; and her grandchildren, Tabetha Norwood (Justin), Autumn Murray, Jessica Kennedy, Gregielle Wooldridge (Danny) and Gunnar Smith (Cami). She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Woodlawn Cemetery.
