It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerry Clayton Umfress (Campbell, Missouri), born in Braggadocio, Missouri, who passed away on April 9, 2020, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, R. C. Umfress and Lessie Mae McCarley Umfress; his son Jerry Clayton Umfress, Jr.; his brothers, Ricky and Keith Umfress; and his grandchildren, Molly Black and Tyler Umfress.

He is survived by: his wife Mary Lou Parker; his children, Robin Black (Jerald) of Gibson, Rosie Noble of Dexter, Eric Phillips of Gibson, Terry Umfress (Katie Tungate), Bobby Umfress (Hally) of Malden and Gary Umfress (Kathy) of Gibson; his siblings, Elsie Kirkpatrick of Campbell, Sharon Corbett of Campbell, Dorothy Goss of Campbell, Barbara Eberle of Campbell, Sheila Akridge of Campbell, Anita Rhody of Campbell, Mavis Marie Keirns of Clarkton, Brenda Price of Hannibal, Missouri, Eddie Umfress of Columbia, Wayne Umfress of Campbell, Don Umfress of Campbell, Dale Umfress of Campbell, Robert Umfress of Success and James Umfress of St. Louis; and his grandchildren, Clayton Wayne Black, Jacob Ryan Black, Megan Elizabeth Black, B. J. Minard (Blake Evan), Steven Phillips, Taylor Akridge, Kevin Brown Umfress, Kaleb Brown Umfress, Justin Tungate and Tyler Snider Tungate. He is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
