He was predeceased by: his parents, Glen Heathman and Susannah Jane Heathman (Bogart); his daughter Julia Ann Carter; his granddaughter Brenda Lee; and his siblings, J. W. Heathman, Bert Heathman and Julia Mae Sandbothe.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Lee Davenport (Endicott); his children, Jerry Heathman (Sandy) and Michael Heathman (Laurie); and his grandchildren, Brian Carter, Christy Carter-Little, Jeff Heathman and Jennifer Kash. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made in his memory to the Wounded Warriors Project in c/o Ferry Funeral Home in Nevada.
