With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Vernell Taylor of Cameron, Missouri, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 13, 2024 at the age of 93. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Vernell Taylor to pay them a last tribute.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Vernell leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Vernell may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Basil Helms and Cecil Helms (Fleming); her husband Charles; and her brother Covel Helms. She is survived by: her children, Kent Taylor (Debbie Latimer), Mark Taylor (Kacey) and Connie Tannett (Oliver); and her sister-in-law Shirley Campbell. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, 8 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Poland-Thompson Chapel (222 W 3rd St, Cameron, MO 64429). A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to Comfort Care Hospice. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be given to Comfort Care Hospice.
