He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Howell and Doris Elizabeth Howell (Gregory); his wife Joan Mallen; his former wife Lynda Carter; and his daughter-in-law Yvonne Howell.
He is survived by: his sons, Robert Howell (Stacey), David Howell and Steve Howell; his stepchildren, Beth Singleton (Rick), Barry Mallen (Rita), Keith Mallen and Kevin Mallen (Tammy); and his brother Don Howell. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Lebanon Cemetery or Missouri Veterans Home Cameron.
