He was predeceased by: his parents, Patrick Ellis and Martha Ellis; his former wife Theresa; and his siblings, Charles "Buck" Ellis, Jim Ellis, John "Jaybird" Ellis, Shirley Asbill and Jeanette Nevins.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce; his children, Denton Ellis (Mary), Shelly Mansil (Darren), Terry Ellis (Stacy), Kimberley Ralls (Bill), Desdia Clarke (Kelly) and John Billups; his grandchildren, Josh, Jacob, Taylor, Jessica, Rachel, Kayla, Sean, Chas, Larry, Samantha, Felecia, Adam, Becky, Tavia, Baylen, Hunter, Tyler, Anne, Christina and Ryan; his great grandchildren, Zoey, Thomas, Callie, Silvie, Caylen, Emris, Gunner, Nadalie, Kenzy, Domonic and Ramie; his sisters, Patsy Gill and Judy Turner; and his pet Abby. He is also survived by many extended family and friends.
