She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Bird and Mary Elizabeth Bird (Rooney); and her brothers, Ed Bird and Jerry Bird. She is survived by: her husband Gerald Schalk; her children, Travis Schalk (Amber) and Beth Hamilton (Jamie) of Cameron, Missouri; her grandchildren, Austin Hughes, Adam Schalk, Rachel Ford, Hailey and Hayden Hamilton; and her great grandchildren, Emmalyn and Brenton Ford. She is also survived by her family, raising her children.
