We are sad to announce that on March 11, 2024, at the age of 97, Lou Gene Edwards of Cameron, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Harold Edwards; her sons, Nicky Lynn and Steven Harold; her foster parents, Hiram Stinson and Netta Stinson; her parents, Arthur Whitaker and Mary Whitaker; her stepmother Pauline Whitaker; her siblings, Enos Whitaker, Billy Whitaker and Joan Hanson; and her stepbrother Dean Jones.
She is survived by: her stepsister Erma Gitthens of Osborn, MO; her daughters-in-law, Jan Edwards of Paige, TX and Joyce Edwards; and her grandchildren, Clint Edwards (Candice) of Cameron, Terri Sallee (Todd), Jill Edwards, Michael Edwards, Jason Edwards and Nathan Edwards (Aysha). She is also survived by ten great grandchildren; and one great-great granddaughter.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Baptist Church of Cameron, Missouri.
