He was predeceased by: his parents, Don E. Barnard and Doris May Barnard (Kruse); and his brother David Lee. He is survived by: his wife Veda Barnard; his sister Wanda Hahn; his son Philip Barnard (Megan); his stepchildren, Carrie Stretch (Michael), Kathryn Baldwin (Rick Mizer) and Roger Earehart; his grandchildren, Lillie and Caleb; his stepgrandchildren, Jonathan, Nicole, Steven and Stacy; and his nephews, Brad and Alan Hahn.
